Before participate 3rd Global Feed & Food Congress in Cancun, JAFMA visited U.S.Feed Mill on April 19, 2010.
This visit was arranged by Mr. Hung, chairman of TFIA.
JAFMA visited J.D.Heiskell Holdings, LLC in Tulare, Visalia, Pixley, California, U.S.A. and had a meeting with Mr. Scot Hillman, Chairman Managing Partner, and also Mr. Robert Hodgen, Vice President California Business Group.

J.D.Heiskell company have made ethanol production and livestock feed production and grain commodity trading, founded in 1886.
They own seven transshipping facilities in western states and exporting grains to Mexico and Pacific countries.
Major products are corn, soybeans (Export), soybean meal, CGM, 15% of the total exports are to Mexico.
They are using U.S.No.2 grade for feed ingredients. Corn is accepted by the shuttle train, and the quality is incomparably better to U.S.No.3 Grade which Japanese feed companies are purchasing now.
In addition, They don’t buy from contaminated areas by DON, mainly from western Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska.
