U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, Mr. Vilsack visited Japan
JAFMA Executive Director requested to United States Secretary of Agriculture to improve quality of U.S.A. Corn directly.

United States Secretary of Agriculture, Mr. Tom Vilsack visited Japan on April 7th, 2010.
On the same day, Secretary Vilsack participated to the "Global Food Security Symposium" hosted by USDA in Tokyo.
And also Secretary Vilsack attended the State Iowa Reception hosted by Ambassador Roos in U.S. Ambassador's Residence in Tokyo in the evening on the same day.
Mr. Mino Executive Director of JAFMA also attended the same reception, and had a chance to talk to Secretary Vilsack directly regarding quality problems which occurs in 09/10 Crop U.S. Corn on something like low protein, high moisture, high BCFM, especially our high concern to the DON, and requested to Secretary Vilsack to improve those problems.
