IFIF annual meeting in Rome

On October 11 through 15, 2010
Japan Feed Manufacturers Association sent the delegation to IFIF annual meeting in Rome.
This is the first time for J.F.M.A. to attend the annual meeting of IFIF, and we felt the environment surrounding the feed industry in the world.
Responding to the question from the board member regarding the situation in Asia, Mr. Yamanishi answered that in Japan, quality control is perfectly arranged in feed manufacturing plants and because of Japan imports most of feed ingredients from overseas, so Japanese trading companies are searching for feed ingredients which are good quality and cheaper one from all over the world, and they take a responsibility to keep quality control over the raw materials in view point of feed chain.
